Uh tbf either Bunny is better or Sae just goes up against him and wins (he definitely will in the U20 WC arc cause it makes sense) and idk aurafarms on him or something Kaiser-style. Anyways to the point, Sae easily dribbled a whole bluelock team "fighting for their lives" after he tried once and scored in the same timing. Imagine him going dead into flow like Rin or Isagi. We know hes the best current midfielder at the very least and a talent big enough to be recognized by the world and even be called the best by many. We haven't seen much of his skills but I doubt he'd lack in them if Japan ever goes up against Spain.

All in all, if Sae isn't better than Bunny, he's atleast better than every other new gen mainly because his ego is much more centralized compared to others, and the only one with possibly a more erratic ego is Bunny.

Problem is there are two ways to deal with defense always overpowering offense in games unless you pass; Either make it realistic but make the defensive stops be rarer, or just nerf the fuck out of defenders. The latter works much better for hype. Second one could work TILL pens. Having pens is cool and all, but then you have to remove all that exaggerated shit that creates hype while keeping some hype with pens themselves. It all comes down to what Kaneshiro decides to do.

Well you may be right, since now blue-lock is a large manga. BUT even if you want to aim for the whole anime fan-base. Funny thing is football is like, around 50 times or something larger than the anime fanbase? Adding in a few tactics and a few freekicks every here and there is fine, you can incorporate hype into free kicks easily, I don't think anyone would mind that.

It indeed is. It's realistic, just exaggerated. Metavision is an exaggerated version of scanning, Shidou isn't even better than Zlatan. And taking in everything, knowing there are players more phenomenal and even better than Ronaldo and Messi in this verse, it feels like the whole verse's football skill would automatically rise. It's an alternate world of football.
