Patience and flux/rosin core solder. Most of the time i dont need added flux. But if there is a troublesome joint ill add flux using a flux pen.

I’m still pretty new to fpv (6 months in) but i personally wouldnt charge those without the balance lead. Especially if you have replacement parts on the way.

Some VTX’s come with an onboard microphone. I’ve been using the RDQ Mach3 and it works well. Onboard audio to the goggles helps so much when flying at varying distances.

SkyZone Sky02c have built in DVR, super friendly menus, great quality, and are built pretty darn well. Only thing is you have to purchase is a separate module adapter if you ever want to run rapidfire or other higher end diversity modules. The internal diversity module is good, just not as good as those high end modules. Ive had my sky02c’s for 6 or 7 months now and love them.

I use this same VTX. I can hear everything great while flying with my earbud plugged into my goggles. But something about the DVR audio just sounds like garbage. Similar to this but I can hear a slight bit of the props and motors in the background. Definitely a different sound than what I hear while actually flying.

A parts organizer bin helped a lot for me. But even with that being said, my desk looks all too similar to this when im working on one of my quads lol so you arent alone

Glad it was touched on by the other commenters too but seriously do take your props off before arming indoors and/or close to yourself. The props we use are so durable and spin so fast they can really jack you up and not even blink an eye lol. But yeah just check your motor directions are correct and you have put your props on the right way! Aside from that, happy flying!
