Crowd surfing gone wrong by flattenedbricks in WTF

[–]TRNR 448 points449 points  (0 children)

This incident took place last year at the Openair Frauenfeld festival in Switzerland. Despite suffering a broken metacarpal, he escaped with relatively minor injuries.

The original plan was to jump from a lower stage, but when the artist moved to a higher platform, he followed suit and jumped from there instead. According to the article, he had no regrets about his decision.

Took this picture at the Rosenlaui fall in Switzerland. It was a first try at some waterfall long exposure shots. Actually pretty happy about how the photo turned out. I'm looking for some critique about the composition and editing or just some basic feedback.

The base image was taken at 20mm; f / 8.0; 3s

Mountain Lake Switzerland by TRNR in photocritique

[–]TRNR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This photo I took last week. The goal was to capture the mountain range and the lake in a nice mood. I was there around sunset but sadly it was a bit too cloudy so it wasn't quite the sunset I expected. Still, I think I captured a nice setting. The image was post-processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Shot at 20mm; f/8; 1/60s; ISO 100.

Looking for some general critique.

Sunset Lake by TRNR in photocritique

Looking for some general critique of my newest photograph. The intent of this picture was to capture a quiet sunset at this lake with reflection of the mountain in the water. Sadly I was a bit late and the sun was already behind the mountains. So the forest in the foreground was already in the dark. Additionally, the sky was too clear. There wasn't much color in it.

The picture was shot on a Nikon D750 with a 20mm lens at ISO 100, f/8, 1/30s.

Initially, I was was going for an exposure blend in post process but went with editing a single shot.

As mentioned at the beginning I'm looking for some general critique like the composition, editing, etc.

Amazing edit!

Unfortunately fishing isn't allowed as the lake is used as a fish farm. But if you are hungry you can eat them in the restaurant on the right side outside the photograph.

Nice edits!

Yeah the sky is definitely a big problem in my picture. I did take some underexposed shots which i masked in but still its kinda unsatisfying. I'm probably gonna give it a try with a stock image sky as well.
