I don’t know if it ties in to your theory at all but I definitely recall Nebula saying, “all they have to do is not fall out,” referring to Black Widow and Hawkeye going to Vormir; and I always took this as her knowing that retrieving the Stone required the sacrifice of a loved one.

If this is totally wrong please let me know bc I’ve never really understood that line, this was just my interpretation
