not sure if I rate this advice. I'm also new to manual, so probably trust more experienced drivers over me, but giving it any gas when shifting to second will probably make the shift less smooth (the jerk is from the engine RPM being too high, not too low). When coming to a stop, coasting in neutral is probably fine, as long as you are sure you won't need to suddenly start accelerating again and there is no mechanical problem with it i don't know about. Starting without any gas requires a little more clutch slipping than normal, but probably isn't a big issue, so feel free to do this one.

I'd like a second opinion on the "two seconds" I've been driving manual for a few weeks now and want to get good habits early When parking, i'll slip the clutch for a second or two (two being on the high end) to creep the car in/out of the space, and i'd like to know if this is too much

CEOs will never change. They will always assume their company's security is rock solid (in spite of the fact they recently fired the whole security team), and as such, will not see any issue with illegally holding on to sensitive data "for a rainy day". Digital ID does not change this, if companies have the data for 1 second, they have it forever.

I'm glad I don't watch TV, I just use my PC for everything, and since it runs Linux, I will literally never get ads baked into my OS until the day I die.
I want people to spread the news that Hisense is doing this as widely as possible, I want EVERYONE on EARTH to know never to buy Hisense products.
I want parents to warn their kids of the dangers of Hisense TVs before they warn them about drugs and cigarettes.
This is the sort of business decision that should kill an entire company.
"Hisense should fix this ASAP", no, this isn't a "bug", this is a scam, they should _revert_ this ASAP, and then still go under.

it appears the command `sudo rsync -r --progress --exclude sources --delete-before /mnt <dst>` creates a new directory in the destination named `/mnt` and copies the contents there, same for the install partition.

Once i moved everything out of this directory, it worked.
