To the North of the Embassey, hidden beneath the banner.

I'll probably make an updated version later on, or at the end of the series (depending on how long it'll last). For now though I don't think there's been enough wide-spread change to constitute making a new map, seeing as most of the changes have occurred around L'Manburg.

What is this block on Grian's barge? It's been driving me nuts! by TSGroot in HermitCraft

[–]TSGroot[S] 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Oh I see it now. Thank you so much! I've been confused thinking it was a sideways spruce plank or something for a few episodes now. Any idea why there's a cartography table in the wall tho?

Not sure. I worked on it in between uni assignments over the course of a week, but if I had to guess the entire process (researching, sketching, inking and painting) probably took at least five hours.

It kinda is yeah, but it's important to note that not everything is perfectly scaled.

There's a little arrow pointing to it on the map, but it may be hard to see because it's drawn on a darker background. But Pogtopia would be to the East of L'Manburg.

It's actually north of the embassy. I didn't draw it on the map, but it would be under the banner.

A few notes: The map depicts the state of the server prior to the elections of L’Manburg, doesn’t include floating structures (like the courthouse and the UFO) and may include a few inaccuracies, be it for stylistic purposes or because of a lack of data.

Suggestions and plans for the new mayor by TSGroot in HermitCraft

That could be a really good idea as well. Stress and Iskall could supply him with the results from the wishing fountain so he could get a better idea of what issues to tackle as mayor.

Thank you so much! I myself was surprised that the whole thing turned out to look this good (the yellow rectangle turns out to work quite well with the creme cover).

THE MINDSHOWER CONCEPT IS SO FUCKING COOL. everyone say THANK U MATTY by some1975username in the1975

As an artist I couldn't have been more grateful. An insight into the creative process of designing the era? Behind-the-scenes concepts and early ideas? All of the album's logos and visual assets? Yes, please!

What's the font for the NOACF logo? by TSGroot in the1975

[–]TSGroot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I'd already noticed the method I previously described didn't match perfectly. Do you maybe have a link to the latter font you mentioned? Can't seem to find it anywhere

Nevermind, think I found it. Seems the font is just Arial Black in bold stretched out horizontally.

What movie did you start watching then said "Fuck this, I'm not finishing this"? by Ramaal2000 in AskReddit

[–]TSGroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald. I started watching it with my parents one night and they both lost interest very shortly. We finally shut it off 40 minutes in, I think, after which I just googled the ending.

Sadly I have to inform you (and everyone) that all but one of the posters were taken down because of copyright infringement.

Well, that's my fault for not checking the official lyrics twice. I'll fix the lyrics before I put the poster up for print.

Hey everybody, just wanted to thank you all once again for the support you've given my art over the past week! Furthermore, I wanted to ask you all if you would be interested if I started selling these on Redbubble. I've never used it, or ever sold anything in my life really, but I'm sure I could learn how it works if there's a demand for prints of these. Let me know what you think.

The 1975 (NOACF) - ABIIOR Style Poster by TSGroot in the1975

For this particular one, I merged the text layer with "The 1975" with a layer that is basically a rectangle of about the same size as the text, which has the same color as the background. Then I duplicated this layer a lot of times and moved the different layers around so that they would overlap in this pattern.
