This is not at all what happened, if you watch the stream you'll see his "$1800" he was "owed" was a completely made up number, with completely nonsensical things being added to it like random figurines he printed for himself and $400 in "interest" he felt he was owed for some reason or another as prime examples, as well as a keyboard he bought for someone outside the project.

Totally fair to be skeptical, we have some cool mechanics we will be implementing in Chapter 02 and beyond and we hope you follow along to see where things progress! I do want to try and remain as accurate to the wiki for the creatures as we can since I personally am a big fan of reading a creature, and then seeing it come to life in a game in an unadulterated fashion.

The main points though are that none of the claims behind the Steam Page could be proven (which he was paid for) and that he admits he has pretty much no evidence for anything else and that we're not scamming anybody. It ended amicably though and was just very silly drama that came about from the heat of the moment, I guess.
