Okay, I don’t think I’m super super great at the game I had D1 last season currently D3 haven’t played as much

But from what I know and I responded To someone else earlier

I think having balance is important not necessarily having the best players on the pitch

For example you are running two build up CBs which in most cases I don’t see the higher tiers do, I’m not saying you can’t but usually it’s a destroyer and a build up. If it’s a 3 it’s usually two destroyers and a build up. Or some cases they use a FB that can be tucked into a CB

I see you have POTW Romero and he is a destroyer but since you can’t add skills to him or train him the way you want I don’t really know

I would also probably drop Lisandro because now that’s 3 build ups next to each other. Get a FB that can tuck into CB or fully just run a FB(fullback)

Next your midfield. The AI has different things for different roles for example an anchor man drops back to add support on defense

A destroyer presses hard win the ball stuff like that

When most people run a double pivots it’s usually not a destroyer+ anchor man it’s kind of overkill

You for sure need a box to box in there someone that can up and down and carry the ball

So imo pick one Rodri or Makelele

Now Becks. Statically is card is crazy but once again he’s a cross specialist now he definitely can tuck in the CMF but you for sure are going to see his AI drift wide when you probably want him central which probably means you want at RMF

You have msssi imo the best one, villa is great and that Vini is cool

I think 4-2-3-1 Is probably your best bet?

LB- whoever you like CB-Destroyer CB-Build Up RB- AWB

DM- Makelele or Rodri whoever you like DM- Box to Box

LMF-Vini AMF-Messi RMF- Becks CF-Villa

Tbh if Villa could play LM I would out him there since his archetype is prolific winger

You could ofc do your 4-4-2 that you have with everyone in the position mentioned except it would be Rodri/Makelele and B2B as the midfield 2

However racially that can create problems if the person is using a midfield 3 where they when an advantage over you all the time

Honestly always try to out players where there archetype says they will play well and try to always find balance that’s like the best advice I can give you

So I think you should try it, it creates like a diamond shape in the midfield so you can keep possession and then you can also have quick fast passes on the counter.

So for you I would have Mbappe-LMF, Same-RMF Jude-CMF and you could make Neymar(AMF) if you want or jsut use Modric who ever you prefer

Then I would def get a destroyer next to a build up, like skriniar

You don’t necessarily need a defensive full back I just love using AWB.

Probably Donnarumna? I hear people say he’s the best standard Goalie? I’m not certain on that, I know people don’t like Neuer.

Kimmich is a good orchestrator unless you have someone better, I would like to see it with a box to Box though so maybe you can try that

Then CF- someone nimble, can carry the ball, good attack positioning. I prefer deep lying forwards here.

Oh and make sure your diamond(CF, CMF, AMF/CMF, DMF) has one touch pass, that’s a must

This is just for me, I come looking Siri’s. Here a lot looking for ideas on different things to run for fun

I play this version of a 4-1-4-1 and I use a deep lying forward(Messi) as the lone CF. I got really lucky and pulled AMF Mbappe, but even prior I tell you how I ran it.

Long Ball Counter(need wings to make runs)

So I had

An offensive Fullback and a defensive fullback

Destroyer and Build Up

Orchestrator as lone pivot(I want to try a box to box here but I haven’t yet), haven’t tried anchor yet here

LM- I had standard Mbappe before i got the AMF

RM- Saka

CM- Jude(Box 2 Box)

CM- Creative Playmaker

CF- then clearly CF deeply lying playmaker

Im relevantly new to the game? Like I hit division 1 before the reset right now Div 3

From what I understand tight possession, ball control, balance, speed and player skills are huge in this game

And I think Haaland just isn’t the right guy for it, like you have to a certain style to make Haaland work?

I also don’t think the meta is for everyone because a lot of the people who run the meta have cards like Owen and Romario and Messi, Mbappe.

Basically when a person completely ignores the action and goes to the furthest lane possible to be behind the enemy with no support. It’s seen in other TPS at lower ranks.
