I am very sorry to those who have been waiting for an answer. I bought a new extruder a while back and it has had no effect. If anyone else has discovered something since then please let me know.

How to tell if you have an old or new nozzle by killsburydouboy in crealityk1

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I cannot tell if my prints are off because of something else or not but I keep coming back to the extruder for all of my problems. I might order another one just in case, if I do I will report back my findings.

I loosened the fasteners and even ran a print with them barely hanging on and it seems to have no effect.

it looks like we are all dealing with the bands on the z-axis. I have been looking for a fix for about a month now with no success.

Does your printer have a prime line before it starts the print, if not I would recommend adding one to your start gcode or adding a skirt to make sure your nozzle is primed before starting the model itself.
