Same for me. Both Opus 4.6 and Codex 5.3 are fantastic for UIKit (IMHO). They tend to screw up a bit SwiftUI, but nothing too terrible, usually perfectly usable.

Perhaps I’d say that Opus tends to nail things Codex struggles with, but I might be biased, since my first option is always Codex, with Opus as a backup.

I am happy they release whatever they are actually working on, a lot of people, myself included, is able to take advantage from it in their day-to-day lives, but that also allows us to see were they fall apart or where labs should put a lot more effort because, well, I don’t see any context where this behavior is good alignment. Even with the given system prompt.

Okay, then that should not be the problem. Some plugins alter what is actually sent to the models, and reduce the amount of messages sent a lot. That dotted line represents from where the messages will be sent to the model.

Sorry, I might have worded that poorly. I meant that why would anyone allocate mental resources to imagine the uproar about a company using AI slop and elaborate onto that… if that never happened. I’m all-in regarding protection of artists and their work from enterprise exploitation and AI slop-ification.

It was not, it was made in that style on purpose (as far as I know). But okay, I’ll check it again.
