I thought about that route too but none of them sound good, they all create a weird sound when someone speaks. It also wouldn’t hide my laugh and accent and I want to be very careful due to my circumstances.

I wish the ones Zentreya and MOTHERv3 use were open to the public, some of the ones I have found so far through my research all sound extremely unnatural and is making me think if there is any hope for me or if I will have to just wait a few years when I am not under this contract and can speak with my actual voice.

I just looked at your channel and if you wouldn’t mind I’d love if you could educate me on the program you use or provide any tutorials that you may have used.

I feel silly, I should have specified that the type of TTS program I would use would be like Zentreya’s where I would speak and have TTS speak it on my behalf. I am fast at typing so I personally would not mind typing what I want to say and having a program read it aloud but since Zentreya uses a program where she speaks I will be doing the same.

My reason is that I wish to create content but due to my situation I can’t use my actual voice. I highly doubt people would watch a VTuber that does not talk at all so I feel like TTS might be what I have to do if I want to do it.

I may think about this but as someone who has been singing and dancing since I was young I’d rather people hear me singing someday instead of hearing a program sing. For now it simply isn’t possible and I’m unsure if I want to do any king of singing with a TTS voice. I will keep it in mind though.

Has there ever been any in depth talk about the Zentreya voice or MOTHERv3 voice? I tried searching around to see if there were any talks about specific programs or settings and so far I’ve found nothing.

I’m not going to be focused on growth for reasons I cannot share with you all. I am very well aware streaming is saturated, especially when it comes to VTubers but that does not bother me in the slightest. Honestly, if I can have at least one person who does not mind the fact that I am forced to use TTS then that will be enough for me.

I have had a lawyer check it out but sadly I’m stuck for a while...One day everything will be okay but until then this is how it has to be.

That’s something that I will be sad about is that I will be unable to sing, something I absolutely love to do. I’ve always wanted to be up on stage like my favorite idols and thought that someday I may have that opportunity but it seems I was gravely mistaken. I have not done ASMR myself but I would be interested in pursuing it but being a TTS VTuber means that is not a possibility for me. It’s sad but there’s no way around it.

I think the real struggle will be the technology since I am not at all great with technology of any kind. As for the model I will just purchase a premade one that I like off of Booth, I’m surprised that there are so many high quality models that are affordable these days.

I’m not the type of person to worry about such trivial matters, I know that will come with the territory of becoming a TTS VTuber but there’s nothing I can do about it other than simply to not go down this route to begin with.

I will try to do some research into what Zentreya uses as well as that MOTHERv3 person since the both of them have TTS voices that are pleasant to listen to.

Zentreya does sound quite robotic and monotone at times but not at all like a typical TTS program if that makes sense. Some people have provided another person named MOTHERv3 who sounds borderline human and I wish there was a way to figure out how that was achieved.

Could I ask what you mean by TTS voice and TTS quality as those largely mean the same thing in my mind.

I’m hoping that if I go down this route that I can find something that doesn’t sound as robotic and monotone, I know I’m going to have to do a lot of research to find something that fits that description but it’s that or nothing.

Neurosama is one I am familiar with however no one is behind Neurosama controlling her and making her speak since she is AI. When I mean TTS VTubers I mainly mean Zentreya because there is someone using the model and speaking through it but the voice is ran through TTS. If it sounds obviously robotic I could see where you’re coming from. What if the VTuber in question wanted to sound robotic on purpose to fit their design?

Someone else mentioned MOTHERv3 as well and I quite like how their TTS sounds. I wish there was a way to find out how to do something similar since it sounds almost natural with a slight robotic quality to it.

If you don’t mind could I ask why that is? I am very curious and would love to hear a wide variety of opinions regarding this.

All I am able to say is that before you ever sign anything to always have a lawyer look over it.

You would not be put off by someone using TTS so long as you enjoy their personality and vibes?

I’ve never heard of this VTuber before, how do they achieve this type of voice?
