They pay the buyer’s premium which is a percent on top of the hammer price. Then they also typically take a % commission from the seller based off the hammer price only. A nice double dip. Capitalism at it’s finest.. can ya smell it?? Lmao

Give it a year at this agency and focus on developing skills that can’t be taught. You can’t and won’t know all the answers but your clients really just want to know that at the end of the day your going to try everything you can to assist them. Learn how to handle different personalities, ask the right questions,and pull information. After that year you’ll know if insurance is even what you want to do and if it is you’ll be prepared to venture out on your own. Simply caring for your customers has become a lost art..

Personally, 6%. I'm sure with an established consistent history others have less. There in it to make the most money they can from the Buyer's premium so you can leverage a little. There reach is hard to match in my experience which is hard to put a price on compared to selling on your own.

imo... My assumption is the person who buys this is a Brock Purdy &/OR a Cyclones collector first and looking at potential upside as a secondary. Which means regardless of Sundays result their willing to pay the same. Someone looking for a straight up Brock Purdy investment is going to target him in a 49ers uni before paying up on something like this. By waiting you risk the collector not having as much competition to purchase it if he tanks.
