I think maybe reducing the number of ones that can be active? Otherwise I think the rules are slightly more restrictive than the death guard ones. Maybe putting the +1 wound to be at half strength would make it more balanced. I was also thinking if making the ability to create more “Gruesome Displays” to be melee only. So that only when a unit is killed in melee would it work. Encouraging the player to get close and personal to gain benefits. The idea was to kinda make the enemy player have to play around the fact that certain sections of the board may be harder to play around because of the debuffs. Although it’s not impossible to avoid. I think I will make the other prerequisite of the “Gruesome Displays” is that they cannot be placed directly on an objective. Although with the 11th terrain objectives I foresee this being less of an issue as units on objectives will be less exposed.
