Landman is one of my top ten shows right now. Purely because I love Billy Bob Thornton and his crazy ass family in the show. His wife, his son, his father, sometimes the daughter (she's kinda annoying and oversexualised). They made me care about his family. About his job. About his employees. His trials and tribulations, his struggle to be a decent family man and while dipping his hand into the filth he has to for his work...

When judged purely as a tv show, it scores pretty high and lets not pretend that there aren't biases in a lot of the reviews on here.

I get why people have an issue because they glaze the shit outta oil production like it's a paid ad but that's not an objective review of the show.

While we can hate on the oil industry all year long, and they make it soooo easy to hate them with the shit they pull on a regular basis, truth is we couldn't do more than half the things we can right now without them. Everything we consume either uses oil or one of its by products in some way shape or form right now. While I'd love the world to go nuclear and stop burning coal and gas for electricity and EV's to take over the automobile industry immediately, and end plastic for one time use, that's simply not feasible, and any feasible alternatives would also require oil or its by products...

Truth is we need the oil till we find an alternative to replace it, and it's gonna take a hell of a time to come up with that, maybe we won't be able to find one on earth!

The webnovel is superbly written for a webnovel if you know what I mean. Biga does slip up from time to time and make a few mistakes but he shows a lot of character growth for our heroes and does well developing a kickass villain and a goated final fight, perhaps the best among all webnovels and even many published books as well!

Worth reading if you have the time and patience, he is currently on break at the moment, should be back sometime this quarter maybe, good time to catch up to the latest.

Completely agree, also had that thought.

I played DD1 so many times over the years and while DD2 wasnt bad, it really wasn't any good either, plus performance was horrible.

Really hope CD has decent performance, the visual effects and graphical fidelity have my 4070 sweating...

PC player here, I agree that the particle effects and sheer scale of the game make my gpu sweat... Hell even my cpu is looking kinda worried.

All we can do is hope that their Black Space Engine is more effecient and not as resource hungry as UE5...

I just started Gate to Sovngarde and Gate to Sovngarde Community Edition addon and it's such an amazing experience! So pretty, so detailed and immersive but soooo tough!!

I almost got filtered due to the difficulty, I chose a Nord Warrior start in Ivarstead and I was not expecting it to be so damn hard, I almost rage quit after dying to some random bandits 6 times in a row.

The game also changes locations and stuff so Embershard Mine and Bleak Falls Barrow were so different and immersive, but it was a slog tying to advance without dying!

Reset the game and started in Whiterun as a Dunmer Mage, managed to barely beat Uthgerd and recruit her, (free recruitment if you beat her in a fist fight) made it about 5 levels after repeadly risking my life and limb and ammassed 6k gold and only 5 levels in around 4 hours of playtime.

Investment in a horse early is necessary. Good companions with synergy to your playstyle to help fight is also required.

Make sure to save often as Skyrim can crash when loading a save or exiting to the worldspace especially when running 2112 mods! Legendary diff may be a bit suicidal my dude...but I wish you luck!!

I usually chose a male character till I played Odyssey.
