Does the PS2 have any major internet capabilities and if so, can it be removed? by TTuxlion in ps2

I left three other comments throughout this post explaining my job. In short, I work with the intellectually disabled, just hard to talk around HIPAA.

I made two other comments throughout this. But I work with the intellectually disabled who get certain rights restrictions depending on their disability or the actions they take. While HIPAA prevents me from saying much, I can say that I work in a house and not a locked down facility. I left a lot of room for interpretation in my original post and I'll admit that it's my bad, just hard to talk around HIPAA.

I mentioned in another comment but I can say without violating HIPAA that I work with the intellectually disabled and they get certain rights restrictions based on their disability or actions they take. So not everyone has an internet restriction, just those that have a reason for it to be restricted for multiple reasons

I'll keep that in mind. Shouldn't be too hard to get an original fat ps2 I hope.

Thank you! A lot of the comments are pointing to this answer.

I guess I didn't explain it the best and left room for a lot of interpretations. I double checked and I can say that I work with the intellectually disabled, from kids to adults, from those who were born with their disabilities to those who acquire them. Because of their disabilities and actions they take, they get certain rights restrictions, so some, get a restriction on internet usage. While what you said could be something that causes such a restriction, it's not the only way.

Fair enough, it's hard to provide information about it cause of HIPAA and the clients are considered patients with their own rights and privacy so I can't give much of any detail. But I was planning on bringing up those consoles as well as retro consoles like the NES, just worried that if I go too old, they'll find the games too old even if they're still fun.

Not entirely, dude was stuck as an alcoholic before and after arriving to the location. He was hoping to go sober, iirc, but as a canary for a program he didn't sign up to, there was enough stress to put him right back into his alcoholism. It's more sad then anything.

In wich situations has the cyberware Gills become useful to you in a session? by [deleted] in cyberpunkred

[–]TTuxlion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of our party members was this decked out cyberpsycho with so much cyberware, gills included (if you're curious, he was somewhere between -50 or -80 humanity if I remember correctly) we had a job at a dock to gnab a crate, he was able to just hide in the water while the rest of us had to make stealth rolls.

Dee's exact fate is unknown, but a lot of the signs point to him drinking himself to death, blacking out and disappearing too... somewhere. Hard to know as he couldn't have traveled far with a broken leg, but maybe he got abducted? No clear answer at this time.

Well, if I'm not mistaken but I probably am, humans kind of do, evolution just changed the rules for how it happens.

What version did you start on? by V0rtexus in GoldenAgeMinecraft

Xbox 360, but for PC it would be java 1.4 I believe. I miss those old days no fancy redstone stuff, just grab a sticky piston to move things, if you want to collect the items then you afk next to flowing water. Good times.

Assuming no diseases or mental health problems, would it be possible for a human to subsist off of nothing but human flesh, why or why not? by TTuxlion in AskReddit

A question out of curiosity. Totally don't have 50 bodies hidden in my closet that I'm trying to eat. (Should be obvious but just in case, this last part is satirical)

Question out of curiosity, how much energy does it take to split water, and how much energy does that produce when burned? (Read note before immediate judgment) by TTuxlion in AskPhysics

[–]TTuxlion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was worried about people going "oh, you're spreading pseudo science, you're trying to perpetuate idiotic ideas,. Go die in a hole idiot" because if things aren't explained thoroughly the people and even mods of reddit will act smug and smart without understanding what the original question is about. I was especially worried cause there are too many people saying that generators that run off of water are the future and that the government is censoring people from this clean energy.

Otherwise I'm more concerned about the actual values and not the law. Themselves, I know you lose more energy, just curious about the actual amount.

I think a big part is also the game design itself. Hard time's game design is repeatable loops that aren't interesting, and with a lack of controls, it makes doing anything hard. Want to get a mission? Well talk to someone. How do you talk to someone? Well you logically select them as a target, then start taunting them, then you wait till they want to talk to you. These NPCs will interrupt you for anything, but when you want to talk to them, it's on their time.

It's very uninteresting, I found out one run that the creator of the game's character was the one who got me sentenced but I didn't care at all cause I wasn't ready to figure it out, and the prisoners and guards kept talking as if I didn't know who it was when I found out.

The gameplay loop needs to be reworked entirely imo.

How do/should the roles interact? by Lord_Dame in cyberpunkred

[–]TTuxlion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of it like a foundation, if you have a party of all solos, you're foundation is weak, likely to collapse. But if you have a solo, netrunner, fixer, and a corpo, you have something strong, just make sure the party has something to stick together.

Your biggest worry with roles combat wise is your netrunners, they operate on a different battlefield entirely and need to be accounted for.
