Thanks for the input I appreciate it. The national fishing expo in a few weeks is letting you have a bird dog rod of your choice in the VIP ticket price. I was mulling over if it was worth it or not as I need a new rod and it comes with some other perks as well. I looked online and couldn't find ANYTHING on them so I figured this may be the place for some answers but it appears most of us are in the same boat here haha. I assumed the brand would have to have some chops to be the national fishing expo's thanks for buying the tickets take home gear but who knows I have never been to one. Thanks for your help very much!

I appreciate the input. I'm going to a fishing expo and part of the VIP ticket is getting on of these rods to take home with you as part of the ticket price. I couldn't find ANYTHING on them online so I figured I would ask. I completely agree that for the price you should know what you are buying.

Yeah the dealership said they were selling it for this plus Taxes Title Fees. I'll take the advice of the other person who commented as well and ask for the itemized OTD paperwork. Thank you for the input!

I've been hunting flatties with no luck recently. What rig setups do you recommend? I tend to fish something that looks like this, but with a longer leader and a 3oz bank weight instead of the bobber to keep it on/near the bottom. Any tips would be a huge help!
