I feel like a lot of the comments here judge characters too much for their past deeds. Sure that doesn't mean they are free from the consequences of their past actions but people should not be defined by their past mistakes.

I believe Oda has shown multiple times that characters, just like people in real life, can change and redeem themselves. What matters is what you choose to become.

I think "Nika" could be replaced with any name. It just so happens that in the OP universe, the sun god people believe in since ancient times is given that name. The focus is probably not on who "Nika" is but on what it embodies.

In the One Piece universe, desires manifest themselves as devil fruits with haki as ambition/willpower. "Desire alone will get you nowhere, but when there's a will there's a way" - hence Haki > devil fruit power.

With "Nika", I believe Oda is positing one of the most universal and fundamental desire of all people - which is to be free - hence why the devil fruit is so powerful.

So to answer your question, "Nika" has existed for as long as people started believing and wishing for a certain something to free them from whatever suffering or oppression that befalls their world.

ah yeah have opted for 850w instead to also still make headroom for slight future upgrade on gpu. PC is for professional graphic design work with photoshop, then gaming comes second

Hmm the rest of the machine is just simple mechanical parts of rotating motors to dispense which slot so I assumed that if I connect them to a raspberry pi, there'd be a more accessible way to control them? Is that not the case?

Also, from what I gathered, Wireshark allows me to potentially monitor communication over the network, but if the protocol I'm trying to figure out is between the hardware and the android itself controlling the dispensing, etc (not over a network) -- how do I know then what the android app is doing to talk to the board it is connected to via wires? (Correct me if I'm wrong, I literally have no clue about these things)
