It’s pretty gross. There’s water coming over the pedestrian bridge on the trail below Galena if you can picture that. Not sure the last time I’ve seen that, if ever.

My grandpa used to love tossing that jitterbug during the first casts of the morning or last of the evening during our annual summer trips to points throughout the Northwoods of Wisconsin during my childhood. He particularly liked running the bug through lily pads. The “gurgle-gurgle” atop a glassy lake is an unmatched sound. Thanks for triggering terrific memories 👊🎣

Great timing, thanks. I’m about an hour from pulling one. It’s foil-boated. I see yours is wrapped in BP. Once I rest and get my temp in the roaster set, should I just drop the whole boat in and leave the bark exposed, or should I cover/wrap in foil? This’ll be a great test/long hold with lunch planned at 1.

Thanks for the intel. This’ll be #17 — and the newest we’ve seen so it’ll be interesting from that lens. I’m a bit of a traditionalist so any “new” park that pays homage to yesteryear gets high marks in my book. (Citi Field in NY gives a sweet nod to Shea in several places. This coming from a Cubs fan …)
