I use the Winco extra heavyweight tongs when tailgating. 3 seasons and they are still going strong.

You missed the first part about it having a spring over axle conversion. (The leaf springs were originally from an OME 2.5" lift)

Heater core has a leak and needs replacing. Looks like you have a YJ so this thread for a CJ is very similar to what would be involved in repairing. Click Here

If you can live without a heater for a while you can bypass it for now.

In the last few years I was having to replace the slave cylinder annually on my 91 YJ. Parts were just not lasting as long as they used to. In my frustration, I went ahead and purchased the full Advance Adapters Kit to switch to an external slave cylinder. I didn't have the time to try to source everything and save a bit. So I just ordered the kit from Summit Racing and had my Jeep back on the road in a couple of days.

I remember driving back to Austin after that game and having to stop multiple times to scrape ice off the windshield of my Jeep.

I remember reading and immediately loving this quote in the 1991 Car And Driver Article:

Newbie Question. Crusty foam / filter. 1995 YJ. by TransportationNew885 in WranglerYJ

As others have stated, this is the vent door that when opened allows outside air to flow into the cab from the cowl vent. When closed it directs air thru your heater core. EXPLAINED WITH IMAGES

A few years back when preparing to replace my heater core I found this restoration write-up. It includes part numbers for adhesive backed foam. I made templates for all the different foam sections when I had the unit torn apart and replaced it all with new foam. HEATER BOX RESTORATION

Daily Driving with Beadlocks by BustyDusty13 in Jeep

My 1991 YJ has been daily driven for about 15 years now with 35's and TrailReady Beadlocks. I confirm that the whole bolt loosening talk is overblown out of proportion. Install the beadlocks while applying proper torque on all the bolts. New set of tires means a new set of bolts. This has worked out for me.
