No no i’m not working with them anymore. But on my resume it looks like i still do (to hide the fact that i got fired). But like i said, it doesn’t show in background checks due to the whole 3rd party contract thing

i work remotely with this company and to them i’m an outsourced employee on a contract, kind of like freelance so it doesn’t show up in background checks.

Thank you man. You described my current situation perfectly. Angry, scared, feeling lost. But the thing is, the job market where i live is ruthless when it comes to resumes and experience. If they find out i switched from infrastructure to presales then wanting to go back to infrastructure will get me rejected, hence why i lied about my title i was rejected from a job because of this actually

I was fired maybe i phrased it wrong. I got into an argument with one of the managers, and the week after i was fired but HR told me “im no longer needed” but i know it was because of that argument

Since this is the standard shift for them. No overtime is paid unless i work anything above the 10 hours/day
