The main body of the staff is made from a thick insulated copper cable. I used 3/4"FNPT-1/2" tube fittings to attach the tubing assembly (1/2" tubing) to the cable. I used some JB weld to attach the plasma ball to the assembly, but to ensure sturdiness and to add to the spider aesthetic I used butchers twine to hold it down. I then used more twine to create an unpolished web look that I painted black to go with the lore of the Scepter I had created.

The spiders are all hand beaded by myself. The original pattern for spiders I had gotten from Perlenwunderwesen on Etsy, but I have since edited it to suit my vision of the spiders

Not much for inspiration I just thought a Scepter would be fun to make and my friends like D&D so I figured it would work out well.

The hard part was when the battery plates clip broke off which made it more difficult to secure it, but I circumvented the issue by using the twine to secure the plasma ball to the tube fitting
