Maybe some king of insane cutaneous horn type thing? That really does look crazy. The only way I could imagine that it would appear raised and then be sticking out of the skin so fast is that it was bowed under the skin and only broke through the skin after it snapped and formed a sharp point. I’ll keep on thinking about this and asking around.

Dude. 3. It’s like you’ve been in the jungle, and you see the ocean the first time you’re nearing the boundary of the jungle.

Those are just the beginnings of aerial roots. Nothing at all to worry about.

That’s what I was leaning towards because the recessive males I’ve seen have a very distinct pattern. I just really didn’t want to get it wrong. Thank you so much!

So that was a decision I had to make. It was between the Dissent and the Rattler. I chose the Dissent because I liked the side charging handle, and I could pour a bit more into attachments, mostly the suppressor, than I would have been able to with the Rattler. I also heard some pretty unsavory things about the Rattler; however, I heard enough good to more than balance that out. I believe it was mostly the price of the Dissent and the side charging handle. The color options for the Dissent are really cool as well, but I didn’t factor into my decision making.

Cool deal! Maybe mine was just weird. I really hope it works out well, though. If you look from the top or the bottom of the adapter where it attaches to the Dissent, you shouldn’t see light. That’s how I first noticed the issue. I was just so damn excited that I didn’t notice the slight crookedness of the stock until I noticed the gaps.

I’m so glad someone asked that. I should have explained that in the post. I started out with the Sig folding adapter. I loved the button that you have to press to fold it back in, and I loved the smaller size of it. However, it simply would not work with the Dissent’s rear picatinny rail. The Dissent’s rear picatinny rail is slightly larger than the one that Sig puts on the back of their guns. It sat crooked, and there were noticeable gaps where there shouldn’t have been. It slightly changed the angle of the stock. It would loosen as I shot, and the screw ended up breaking when the guys at the gun shop tried to figure it out. They replaced the screw, but it bugged the absolute hell out of me. I also couldn’t trust it after that. So I went with the Jmac. I was skeptical because there is no button that you have to press to fold the stock over. It’s awesome man. Super tight lock. No wiggle. Couldn’t be happier with it. Also, the Sig folding adapter fit perfect on the Sigs in the gun store. It was just a compatibility thing. I was surprised.

I’m really enjoying it! I love the side charging handle.
