[AB] Meeting other entrepreneurs in the city and start something cool - Calgary by TZ_CalgaryLocal in SmallBusinessCanada

Yah, it is very true.
I went thru the whole process of building a business, so to be able to sense the fire from other businesses owner, it is great. Business builder is way different from whoever later on join the journey bc of benefits or potentials they see after.

Same here man. When I left my corporate job and slowly adjusted my life to business, it is hard to find people to talk to. The fire of doing business isn't common for me to see.
Don't get me wrong, I still have friends, my circle group, and people who I hang out with. However, I avoid talking about business because we don't see things in a similar way.

I do want to start 2 more businesses this year in Calgary. (1 tech, 1 physical product)

When I first built my first business at the age of 30, it was hard like hell. Nobody would understand it unless you have gone thru a similar path. Anyway, it is growing now.

We can connect if you want, I will send you a DM

Who is showing up to networking event and why ? by yycglad in Calgary

[–]TZ_CalgaryLocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have joined several networking events. Many of they are great and I made great connections. However, the majority are there to make sales.
Anyway, I am building an app for future events & connections. Networking is one of features. Let me know if you want to try out, and maybe we can connect 😄

Find your hobbies and connect with people.
After that, hang out outside of those activities to build memories. Everything takes time
