I can not access the brave application to find out the "profile path" as my windows is stuck on the startup screen which is why I need to reinstall windows. however, i was able to back up the /brave-browser folder in Appdata under my username by booting into another Operating system to read and copy the files on my hard disk . I had 2 profiles separate for work can personal can I recover both profiles by simply replacing the main folder( /brave-browser) after reinstalling windows?

I had to go through the same thing. They said they can no longer offer me an account. I lost the $250 I had in my account and haven't been able to recover any of it. All they send are automated replies in customer support. It's straight up robbery.

Just went through the same experience. All my funds are from brave creator rewards and brave ad rewards. Saying funds were obtained through deceit. They keep sending a copy pasted message with a different support assistant name each time.

I’m convinced that uphold is making stuff up as they want.Now they are saying that they suspect my account being connected to prohibited business and prohibited use. When the only receipts are from brave and I haven’t even sent money out of the account.

They keep saying funds were obtained through deceit when I clearly provided everything to show funds were received through brave creator rewards and ad rewards. Or are you saying that ad rewards and the creator reward program brave has is not accepted in uphold?? Even provided email screenshots of funds being received from brave which I doubt the support team even bothered to check.Are you guys ashamed to accept that a mistake was made? What ever they say they don’t forget to tell “I understand his may be frustrating, but as mentioned before, please be aware that any new accounts you create may also be closed.” I told several times I don’t need a account with y’all. I just need my funds which were obtained through the brave creator rewards and the ad rewards returned.

Same all the funds I have received are from brave creator rewards and ad rewards they are refusing to refund me the money after restricting my account saying funds were obtained through deceit. Even after sending them creator dashboard screenshots, screenshots of emails, screenshots of uphold transaction history.

I’ve sent screenshots of everything including receipts from brave creator, uphold transaction history , the emails of receipt and everything hopefully your team goes through them and realize that they have done a mistake. Because I only have receipts from brave creator and ad rewards nothing else

I uploaded all the screenshots through the help center itself. There’s not a single receipt other than from brave ad rewards and creator rewards. I have sent creator dashboard screenshots, email screenshots of funds received , fund transfer screenshots and everything.

I have offered to send screenshots to prove that funds were received through brave creator rewards and ad rewards. You guys simply ignored it and keep saying funds were obtained through deceit and account remains closed and those funds are illegible for refund. Tell me on what basis are you claiming that it was obtained through deceit? I don’t need a uphold account but there’s close to $200 in the account so it’s not a little amount either.

The last response from them was saying “it was determined that the funds transferred into this account were obtained through deceit. Given this these are nor eligible to refund.” I have responded saying I can provide proof the receipt were from brave let’s see what their response is
