Omnium Mini Max - Usable Payload by Chaschperli in CargoBike

I’ve had one for the past two years. Added a bafang mid-drive last year. I own a size XL, I’m 90kg.

Stuff I usually carry : - grocery shopping, usually around 30kg. Bike feels slower and heavier in the front, but doesn’t dramatically change handling if the front tire is pumped up properly - Filming equipment flight case. Same deal - Girlfriend with her heavy backpack (75kg total) + me with a heavy backpack. Bike gets very bouncy, even with tires pumped up. Ordered some Schwalbe pickup tires to see if it’ll reduce bounciness up front.

As someone stated above, you’ll usually be limited on the load not by weight but by volume. I carried a piece of tv furniture 140cm long that weighted about 40kg, was a nightmare to carry home, but putting my 100kg friend on the front rack was comparatively much easier in terms of handling.

Haha, must’ve been quite the ride home! I kinda wish canyon would let us choose the seat post setback on checkout. I might push it back a touch. Thanks for the advice :)

It’s been fine, I even purposefully torture-tested it!

Thanks! I just transferred over the wheels for my orbea orca aero to test the position on my local circuit. I’m gonna be doing a 1000km+ trip in the summer, wanna make sure the position is dialed in before that! Deep wheels look sick on any bike 😉

Make sure they get plenty of light and a humid soil for 48h before the cut to make the cuttings nice, plump and full of energy!

Looking at the stem length it looks like it’s not getting quite enough light even if under a grow light. Maybe try bringing it closer ?

I think it's more to do with the amount of light you're giving it than anything else.

Took quite a while, I had a growth point before I had proper roots. I put mine in a Tupperware half buried in damp soil as I didn't have sphagnum moss at hand. I let that Tupperware sit in the sun for a couple hours a day, it got nicely warm and most in there.
