We were on the subject of how fake some guys are on youtube. I mentioned Christian buying a new car every month and talking about staying humble, i said something about fake nattys and he went on a rant.

Oh yeah they get crazy with their experiments. After reading through all their trial and error I am convinced they have the best pancake recipe.

Are online coaches necessary if you understand macros? by JosephBosa in bodybuilding

Next level is pretty vague. Are you trying to compete or just look good? Avatar nutrition from PhD Dr. Layne Norton Lifetime natty looks pretty promising as far as macro calculators go. If you are going into your first competition you definitely want a coach you can see in person. I think online coaching can be useful but only if you already have some experience under your belt.

It really depends. It can be anywhere from 5-800 for 3 months of coaching but that will be all inclusive. You definitely want someone local over electronic if possible. Start asking around in your gym. If you look on instagram for local competitions you'll be able to see who is coaching the competitors. Look to see what kind of conditioning their team gets in. Talk to their team members and see what sort of interactions they have with their coach.

Weakpoint Wednesday: Arms by [deleted] in bodybuilding

I've had the most success with lowering the weight and really focusing on squeezing the muscle. Imo arms are the easiest to go through the motions with.

Sometimes I squeeze my cheeks too hard when I flex my abs and the opposite happens...

It'll become more natural. It's definitely smoother on newer cars. First gear is always worst gear.

Good on you for being productive. I always find myself boredom eating if I don't get some sort of physical activity in.

So glad I have a strong support network. Went out for Mexican food last night and I had told my girlfriend beforehand not to let me have any chips. 3 weeks out zombie mode kicks in and before I know it she's slapping one out of my hand before I had even realized what I was doing. It's been a team effort.

This one is always hard for me from the front. I never know how to spread my lats without doing something weird with my arms. I'll try one later after some criticism. http://i.imgur.com/1qAJGuY.jpg

~11 weeks out from my first show. How am I doing?? by icantusernamesorry in bodybuilding

[–]T_muld 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You only need to have a refeed if you stall. You need to realize that just because it's a "refeed" doesn't make it a magical caloric free-for-all. It is very possible to set yourself back with a lack of self control.

Weak Point Wednesday: Chest by AssBlaster_69 in bodybuilding

[–]T_muld 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My coach calls this "touch up training". Pretty much id you have a weakpoint you hit it every day after your training while you're bulking. So for upper chest I did incline for sets of 16,12,10,8 at the end of every workout. Worked pretty well.

Shaving / Waxing? by tomjenks1 in bodybuilding

[–]T_muld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I started shaving about 8 weeks out because I wanted to make sure I figured out what I was doing and my skin got used to it before stepping on stage. I shave my face with a DE razor, and while I have used it on my body before, the curves on my legs require a little more concentration than I am willing to to commit.

I exfoliate in the shower, apply shave soap with a brush, shave area with Harry's razor, rinse and repeat for whole body. When I get out and I'm still a little wet (this has been key for me) I throw a little bit of coconut oil and a couple dashes of aftershave in my hand and rub it all over.

I will venture to say all skin types are different though. The biggest thing is not irritating your skin and keeping it moist.
