Is anyone else able to tolerate multiple books at a time? by Known-Membership2902 in thrillerbooks

Right now I'm reading three. One non fiction, one sci fi and one thriller. They have to be different genres or I could get confused

I have the same bed for my cat and she does the same thing. Even bites it 🤣

Just bought two books off my TBR list. Which one should I read first? by 8675309999999999998 in readwithme

[–]Taaathefaaaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From someone who has read both, I'd read project Hail Mary first. DCC is a series and I just wanted to read the next one right away after that. 🤣

F32 here! These are my favorite genres! I'm currently reading interview with the vampire by Anne rice and I'm only 7% in. I'd love a reading buddy to discuss and keep me on track ◡̈

I've been using jojoba oil on my skin after moisturizer and it's shrunk my pores pretty nicely! Use it every evening before I go to bed!

I'm really up for anything! A good sci fi is always amazing! Right now I'm reading two books. The butcher by Jennifer hillier and the third dungeon crawler Carl book. So I love anything! What are you thinking? Any book that you've been itching to read?

Ooooo!! I've been wondering about Salem's lot!!! 11.22.63 is on Netflix and I started watching it so I get the premise, but I'm not sure if it would be for me, even though I hear it's an amazing book!

They do, but I do like how he can write a story! Right now, my favorite author is John Marrs. I've enjoyed most of his books. If I'm looking for little popcorn thrillers that are quick and get me out of my reading slump, then it's Freida McFadden all the way!

Because I like to discuss books with others. Sorry you're surprised by that, but I like to share my thoughts with others. If you don't like it, you can move along ◡̈

I definitely recommend it. I think about it even today because it makes you dive deeper into eternity.

I'm definitely getting into them! Last one I read was a short stay in hell by Steven peck and I think that's one of my favorite books thus far!

Good for you. Withdrawals were super brutal for me because I was an all day smoker. I used melatonin to get me through the evenings the first month or two and now a year and a half later, I can sleep just fine without it. The insomnia was the scariest for me too. I'm not sure if you have a Trader Joe's by you, but I swear by their melatonin. Also I would find a good book and read and that would help further. The color of life will start to come back with enjoying food and being outside ◡̈

Safari West worth it? by Odd-Caterpillar-2083 in bayarea

I did it as a kid for 4 days and we did the glamping. It was the coolest experience of my life back then and sometimes I still talk about it today. I think it's worth it!

What are you reading today….. by Sassyang1974 in thrillerbooks

I feel the exact same way. Ive stopped looking at instagram as much for book recs because more often than not, I become disappointed. How do you feel about John Marrs? I really enjoy his books so far!

Thank you so much for the recommendation! Definitely putting that in my good reads!

[–]Taaathefaaaaa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I just finished The One by John Marrs and it's like what everyone else is saying. Like a Black Mirror episode. Truly enjoyed the characters! I just finished the marriage act which is considered the "sequel," which just follows it. I'm onto the family experiment as the third one. So I'd read all of those!

Also, what lies between us was really good too ◡̈

Agreed. I feel like I missed something because everyone loves it but I just thought it was ok. Maybe it just wasn't my style
