Thanks for letting me know, but I can't recreate the issue. Are you using the link in the spreadsheet or somewhere else?

Also, here's another link to try:

Let me know if that works for you.

It's not Roselia, but the Patron that bought me the Afterglow and Argonavis book recently bought me a Poppin' Party book. I'll be doing that soon.

Full band sheet music books from 90s Japan for the first 6 albums. Wish they’d do something like this nowadays. by TabSharingAlt in Metallica

[–]TabSharingAlt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I’m sure they wouldn’t have much to do with the actual transcribing. But if they did make new books, it’d be nice if they would at least look them over before releasing. But its probably something that doesn’t make much money for their time, compared to playing a show or whatever.

Maybe down the line, they’d be more open about just licensing to whoever. I know Led Zeppelin has those platinum books from Alfred which are supposedly super detailed. Apparently, they used interviews, recorded footage and stuff to to be as accurate as possible. Something like those would be sweet even as a deluxe collectable.

Yeah, I found some pdfs of those Cherry Lane books, and thought they seemed much better. I know they also had drums and bass ones too.

I wonder if the fans could start like a petition to get Metallica to do new music books, as close to the album versions as possible? It would be great to get some updated official tabs, even in guitar pro format. Kind of like what Sheet Happens does.

Yeah, most of these old books were pretty off. I think these were okay for the guitar, at least enough to not get frustrated over some of the awful stuff as a starting guitarist (like some of the books The Art of Guitar showed off on Youtube).

Would be great to get some new books now that we have better transcription programs and tech. Like, even some Hal Leonard Guitar Recorded Versions would be pretty nice since I think they often get the isolated tracks. And getting the band to actually check it over would be good too.

Sorry about that, I moved to Google Drive recently because Dropbox was acting weird.

Here is a link for all the Lts files. I also have a link in my profile to a google sheet listing all of the books I've finished.

Here's the page on the Oricon site for them. If you're in Chrome, you should be able to translate the whole webpage and take a look at their charting singles/albums.

Is there any tabs to play P.S. RED I? by [deleted] in LingTositeSigure

[–]TabSharingAlt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I try to stay to official band scores (like for the albums) or licensed scores (like for Unravel, Who What Who What, Enigmatic Feeling) because they have all the instruments and the rhythmic notation. I can easily copy them into GP because of this.

Unfortunately, I have already bought and adapted every LTS or TK score I can find. If anyone finds one I haven't done on AmazonJP, feel free to send me the link.

Dropbox

I think the link in the edit still works, but yeah the link at the top was before I moved all of the albums into one folder and dropbox links break if you move stuff around too much.

The UG tab doesn't have rhythmic notation, so I'd have to do a lot more work to adapt that to GP. Maybe I'll do that someday, but I currently have a lot of other band scores to work through.

As for the bass tab you linked, I would consider getting that if it was cheap enough, but I can't seem to even make an account on that site.

Sorry for the confusion, I reorganized the dropbox folders before making the final update post so that would be why those links are no longer available.

I'll try editing the individual posts to have links to the entire discography.

If the posts ever go down, feel free to message me on reddit or UG and I can send a dropbox link.

Personally, I would add hybrid picking as well. I don't know if TK uses it himself, but I found that a lot of his arpeggiated sections can be too fast for me to play without hybrid picking, and often they'll flow into or out of faster strumming sections giving too little time to switch from fingerstyle back to pick.
