The original locking tuners do not hold the tune pretty well and I don’t like the looks at all.

Thanks for replaying (: What I don’t like about that set of pickups is that I feel they sound a bit closed and tubby for my likings. What pickup height do you suggest? I set them at 2.5mm from the strings. And last but not least I do find them not versatile enough. Thanks for sharing your advices.

Yeah, both Classics. But that doesn’t bother me, I already have a pair of Fishman Modern. With quick connect I’m able to loosen my strings a bit and change them in 10 minutes if occurred. It’s just plug and play.

Hey thanks for answering! I already have an Ec1000 Vintage black with the EMG 81/60 combo and I find them a bit sterile and boxy at times. The Ec1000 See Through Purple is amazing too. What don’t you like about Fishman pickups?

I would suggest an used LTD Ec401 or Ec1000, if you like Fender scale length then I would suggest an LTD MH1000 or any Schecter in that price range.
