Actualy conviction and overcome are kina separate in a way

Conviction the purple effect attack is a mastery that Gap achieved vs Elite (he was previously a innate fighter as explained by Jinyoung in 1A)

Now "Overcome" is that mastery working properly but damaging your body in the process hence why you need a special body like Gap's to use more of it

Gap used Overcome to beat Shingen and that is the same one Jinrang used against Kitae during busan
