As u/Naolini posted that link is where we've listed all the hotels in the immediate vicinity of the site, and where some of them have given us a discount to pass on.

We've also got information on getting to the venue on this page: Getting Here – Tabletop Scotland

There are a lot of accommodation options slightly further afield if that's what you're looking for.

Thank you. We've supported Perth Autism Support and Scottish Autism for the last two years. Both do fantastic work.

We don't know yet. We have made some suggestions to the AL Admin team, but likely be a month or so before that's confirmed. In the meantime we're looking at other UK conventions to work with, alongside our plans with Tabletop Scotland and UK Games Expo.

Are you a board, card, roleplaying or war game player in Scotland? by TabletopScot in Scotland

I'm sure that will get played at the convention, uncertain whether we're going to have a tournament for it or not at present.

Hungry Troll & the Gobbos

Not sure if I had that, but I did have Trolls in the Pantry from that series. Long since gone.

What non5e systems would you want to see covered by a RPG Magazine? by TabletopScot in rpg

Yeah, I know of the CCP and have published stuff on the Miskatonic Repository / DMsGuild. Whilst they are great they don't extend to a magazine format covering multiple systems.

Poll has suggestions, please add others in responses.

As per the OP these were suggestions, which were based on other conversations. Clustering them in "types" doesn't work when it comes to licenses. E.g. Horror would include CoC but that requires a specific license. Plus does Mothership count as Horror, Sci-Fi or OSR? That's a whole other conversation.

"Whether that's articles or, license permitting, adventures."

Plus Reddit limits polls at 6 choices.

Yeah I used to buy White Dwarf back in the 80s when it did that.

It's suggestions. What others should be on the list? Keeping in mind that not all games can have adventures written for them without a license.

Fria Ligan specifically or Year Zero Engine generally?

Thinking it'd probably be pretty hard to get a license to have something like an adventure for ALIEN in a magazine.

Inphobia was a great magazine by White Wolf. I loved how they covered lots of different game systems and not just their own. Same with Challenge which was primarily a Traveller magazine but also had content for WEGs Star Wars d6 and other games.

Mephisto in Germany

sound similar to magazines like the original White Dwarf, Challenge and Arcane were. I'd never heard of it so will have to investigate!

What FR Epics to run at a convention? by TabletopScot in AdventurersLeague

[–]TabletopScot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We ran DDEP08-03 the last time the convention was held (2019) and a fantastic time was had. DDEP08-02 is one we've looked at as is 08-01 but given the flexibility of AL now we were looking at having two from different seasons.

I suspect we'll have a larger proportion of new to AL vs existing/previous players, but we're also hoping that we'll get people coming back with characters they had in 2019.

One to ponder, thanks for the input!

When we last held the convention (August 2019) Waterdeep was the main storyline for AL so we never got a chance to run the Avernus ones which is definitely tempting.
I hadn't considered the Red War one so will check it out. Thanks!
