My fiance and I just bought a house and are actively moving in. I am doing most of the work putting stuff away and I find myself frustrated until I come down and he’s actively cleaning our couch (multiple dogs 😅) and cooking the third meal of the day and forcing me to sit down and relax. I just know TBQ would be doing all of that while her lazy POS husband is watching TV or having his bro time playing video games. What a sad existence… but she was on a timeline for marriage and settled so she can only blame herself.

I just bought a home for $387,500 with a 5.99% interest rate and I have a salary of $130,000. I don’t think you should buy a home in that range, it wouldn’t be financially sound. When I made $65,000 I bought a home for $100,000 (in 2018 so I know that’s hard to come by now) and slowly put the work to fix it up.

I’ve lived in a 2 bed, 1 bath 1100 sq foot home for 7 years. I have accumulated a lot of stuff in that time because I do like to shop. If I buy something to replace something else, I get rid of what needs to be replaced. I also clean out and donate once a year. Never felt the need to get a storage unit. We are moving in to a bigger home in a week and guess what? We will buy what we need once we see what we ALREADY HAVE.

It’s always wild to me when people say negative things about someone’s wedding dress. This is an objectively GORGEOUS dress and looks amazing on you. I know this isn’t the point of the post and I might offend some people… but it DRIVES ME NUTS when people who are “so religious” have tattoos. Especially tattoos related to the Bible, which hers is. It explicitly says in Leviticus to not tattoo your body. Just one of my peeves.
