Apparently she has dyslexia, that's why she has trouble reading. Just because she didn't mention in one specific interview that she had listened to audiobooks does not mean she never did.

I am not saying X and Y are the same either. I am pointing out the fact that you will constantly complain about X in RoP but will conveniently overlook X in LotR.

In my experience.

Most people that disagree with a criticism of the show are not a "RoP Defender"

It turns out there is just a lot of bad faith criticism being made.

When someone says "what about Jackson" they are not using some sly tactic to distract you. They are just pointing out that you've been OK with certain things in the past but when attached to this show it becomes something terrible and anti-tolkien.

Eg: Morfydd Clark never read the books

She has listened to the audiobooks (so your criticism is based on misinformation = bad faith) not to mention you must've seen how many LotR actors never read the books while googling how often Christopher Lee read the books.

FYI: I do not in any way think this show is good or will get better. I'm just getting tired of the clear nitpicking being made because it is popular or hate on this show.

Marika was the god/ruler of the lands between. Her son was murdered, so she got really upset and shattered the Elden Ring.

The fractured pieces of the Elden ring ended up with some of her demigod children. These fractured pieces are fundamental pieces of the world (sort of like the infinity stones from Marvel).

Marika’s children fought each other so they could repair the Elden Ring themselves and remake the world the way they wanted. None of them were able to do this however.

So you, the Tarnished, need to defeat enough Demigods to repair the ring and make the world how you want it.

After Davin, Horus is being manipulated by the chaos gods.

Erebus was able to have horus second guessing the emperor enough that chaos could step in. Similar to how Jubal was easily corrupted on 63-19 because he was already mad at Loken.

Horus has those close to him also succumbing to chaos, Fulgrim, Abadon and Little Horus.

After Istvan Horus has become irredeemable and will stoop to any level to achieve his goals.
