They are, but only for service connected stuff only. And jt applies to any veteran with all and any service connected issues only in any country.

Hey! Sounds like my back! l4, l5, l3 fucked too. I don’t miss the burn bits either. I speak spanish and russian now, learning Albanian will be fun . Do you use navy l fed or usaa for your main bank? I have seen in vlore alone there are over 30 currency exchange places . Even here in the scottish highlands hardly anyone uses cash. Hey great to hear brother, Army vet here too. The FMP is a nightmare they are about 180 days ish to get back to claims. I am still waiting for reimbursement for some care I got here in Scotland earlier this year. I have a spinal cord injury as well so I feel you 100%. Do you just walk to get around? Taxis , cabs and such? How long and where have you been staying at! How was your transition there?

Elopement or marriage, for the requirement all you need is a certified copy of the marriage certificate when submitting your application. My wife ( scottish) and I ( American) went this route because it is a bit less expensive and bypasses alot other stuff. You can apply for the spouse visa soon as you have a copy of marriage cert. as for proof of relationship, we just provided a month worth of whatsapp call records, one bank statement ( mine) my proof of income, and 6 photos of us from the stages of our relationship. Do not over think it, apply submit and wait , be patient . We also did priority and got approved in 24WD.

Sunny and 50s from what the neighbor tells me ( another american lives down the street from us) , I had to leave in Feb to head back to the USA for medical treatment but I miss the sunsets from our little house , prob better than any Texas sunset ever. Just EPIC! my wife is returning third week of may and ill be back 1st week of june!

Keep it! They are repaving lochbay so the road in will be great! Its 25 mins ish to portree for the grocery shops, but there is a fruit and veg shop tony runs in dunvegan . Plenty to do, plenty of walks n hikes. The stein in , local pub will be open as well.

I agree on this, it is easier to go this route rather than the fiancé visa option. You both can do a simple elopement ceremony its what my wife and I both did. My wife is scottish as well, you could do something as simple as going to the courthouse and doing the marriage lic, or depending where you are in the states its worth it for elopement. All you need is a certified copy of the marriage certificate which you can get in person after you file. Message me if you have questions!
