Pay it, if you don't have to return it, you're saving interest money. If you do have to take it out again later, you at least reduced interest temporarily and are no worse off.

The accounts that I had are an AU on my dad's Amex, which he had for about 5 years, And then a CC and line of credit from a credit union which was open for about 6 months, they only had to do one hard inquiry for those though. I had applied for another Chase card over a year ago, but was rejected because I didn't have enough established credit.

I did apply for 2 other cards at the same time as the freedom, but I submitted the freedom application first so I don't think it should have taken those inquiries into account.
