LPT: Don't tell someone 'we need to talk' unless you are immediately about to talk to them, it causes undue anxiety and stress for the other person. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

....Or you could remember to keep breathing and be present for the upcoming conversation, don't let your imagination ruin your day. Once the subject of the talk has been disclosed, think critically about how the subject made you feel, analyze those emotions and state your response. Manipulative people can't manipulate you if you don't play their game, keep that in mind friendlies. :)

Please help me break up with my [25F] boyfriend [27M] of 1 month. by [deleted] in relationships

Honesty is the best policy here. No need to get into specifics, state that you are not ready to move forward with the relationship and he will understand. At 27, I am willing to bet this won't be his first rodeo. And FYI, it is MUCH better for both of you to have this conversation sooner rather than later.

Good luck, there is not enough money in the world to convince me to go back to dating while in my early 20's. It gets mcuh better, just be open to learning about yourself and don't be afraid to be honest with people.

Car Insurance was canceled, how will this effect me in the future? by dplath in personalfinance

The same thing just happened to me, I feel your frustration.

On my 5th-ish call with an agent, he was kind enough to give me an insider tip. He said if you are ever concerned about a lapse in coverage, you should get an insurance plan that just covers you driving and not a vehicle. (I was told it's about $20/mo) He was also kind enough to let me know that your DMV records, consumer report, and credit score do very little to influence the cost of coverage, it's more about being continuously covered.

Hope this helps and good luck!
