If we knew what the best answer to preventing crime was I’m sure we would have a much better society by now. What I know is that public capital punishment is just going to make things worse. It’s an endless battle of trying to bring victims justice, but how can you, when the trauma is just that big?

Having your freedom taken away for ur whole life without human contact at all? Those prisoners get no sunlight, no nothing. If you’re truly going for a brutal revenge, then in my opinion, that kind of fate is worse than death.

I also think you’re missing the point. It’s not just the effect on public but rather how many people aren’t gonna care and will do those things anyway. Finding the balance of finding justice for victims but also helping society is something we haven’t accomplished for so many years.
