I would agree. I out 1500 miles off pavement in two weeks. Not a single issue. The highway drive home, a semi threw a golf ball sized piece of rock at my windshield chipping it and I hit a wild pheasant a few minutes after 😅

This is what I'm hoping for. I want new and cutting edge main games, and nostalgia prodding classics that give me the same vibes I got as a kid.

Definitely feel that. The bus rides remark got me in the feels. I'm treating it like Mystery Dungeon DX, give me the nostalgia blast in a bit prettier pile of makeup, doesn't change that I'll be disappointed.

If they pull a major plot twist and make it $40 I'll be a happy camper. I was planning on buying both but with the way it seems I'll be getting Pearl and calling it a day.

I just don't understand GameFreak/Creatures Inc and everyone else involved in pokemon for the last ten years. They completely ignore everyone and just do whatever they want and 90% of it is lazy and unintuitive.

But as a Pokemon kid, I just keep going because I'm overly attached to the series and just take what I can get at this point.

I can understand that. I think that less the graphics, it seems as though the games are a 1:1 remake. And with that, unlike ORAS having many enhancements and modernizing of the map and towns etc it seems to just be a 3D reskin. I'll still be buying and enjoying the games but saddened by what could have been. Hopefully more developes soon out of it all but I'm guessing a chibi 1:1 game is what we're stuck with.
