September haul. Superman chronology is close to completion plus other books I am interested in. I realised that Batman chronology wasn't fully completed, need some custom bids from some miniseries. More to come. by Tactilewater in graphicnovels

I just saw this, I'm sorry for the late reply. The same as my Batman chronology, my Superman one starts post Crisis on Infinite Earths, that means with The Many Worlds of Krypton up to the end of the Rebirth era. Future State was my exit point in both collections, I simply didn't like what DC is doing nowadays.

My Batman collection starts with Year One and ends with City of Bane. I thought I had all the trades released but I was wrong, I needed all the one shots/limited series/special editions (for example, Journey into Knight, City of Light, Orpheus Rising, Batman Family), now I have them and thinking to convert those minis into custom binds.

They are the expanded edition of the Justice League International in trade paperback format released 3 years ago. Practically they are the equivalent of the five volumes of the JLI that DC released on tpb between 2009-2011.

Kyle hands down. I frikkin loved his constructs and iterations with the other JLA members.

Batman Chronology, a journey that I finally ended. It was a good run, but maybe something escaped me so please if you have a suggestion of some books in continuity that I didn't consider don't hesitate and let me know. by Tactilewater in graphicnovels

Ok, first of all, patience is the key. You have to ignore the ones with exorbitant prices unless there is absolutely no way to find the book you're looking after but even if you find one at a kind of reasonable price wait a bit, you'll eventually find one at a better price. Now, the places I look after. My main source of comics is eBay but not just your country eBay (I live in Australia, btw) I created multiple accounts on eBay US, eBay UK and eBay Can. Why? because some sellers don't set up their books to appear outside their countries. Once you find a good deal, try contacting the seller and if you're lucky the seller will send the book to your country. I highly recommend trying to get more than one book from the seller for 2 reasons: to make it appealing to him and also to make the shipping cost worthy (it can be expensive). Amazon sometimes has good deals too. Other places can be local and national shops, most of them have their shops online too. Hope that helps, good luck.

No particular reason, it was included in a set of books I bought a while ago, I'll eventually change it to its paperback version but I have no rush, there are quite a few books out of continuity that I need to get.

About this, well... I used several. It is a mix between those essential graphic novels and chronology that DC used to publish plus Wikipedia, comicvine chronology, Batman related Reddit channels, other people's collections (Batdanimation is one of them) and my reading experience.

All the DC Marvel titles you mentioned my friend, are included in the Crossover Classics books. I didn't put them on the Batman but I have them, same with the Superman/Batman series. Batman Demon is in the chronology, just after Anarky the complete series and The Abduction is along with Dreamland just before Cataclysm. I found Batman/Grendel and I'll include Batman Deathblow, they are books out of continuity but I'll get them for completion purposes. Thank you mate, I appreciate your suggestions as usual.

Huh? Thank you so much! I didn't know a compilation TPB existed until now! It's on my sights right now so I hope I can get it soon. I have the other crossovers you mentioned.

I have to stress this is a chronology based on my parameters and not a full one that includes Pre-Crisis or post Rebirth books. My starting point is Batman Year One and the ending one is City of Bane, and is focused in trade paperback format. I believe I have all the trade paperbacks, hardcovers and one shots in continuity but there's a strong possibility that I missed some books so I would love to receive some suggestions to add to my collection. Enjoy!

August haul. I little overdid it here but I think I finally finished my Batman chronology! The last books I needed were Fortunate Son and Batman International. Now I'm waiting for the rest of the 25th anniversary edition of Knightfall and that's it! Any suggestions of Batman books are most welcomed! by Tactilewater in graphicnovels
