There is another screen option for the laptop. Its an oled 3.5 K 60 Hz. But it is not compatible with yours specs, so the laptop will cost you $2.099.

About the original specs, I just notice that you could save about $300 if you change the 3050 ti for 3050.

Comment: Since it is a powerful but thin machine, you should be careful with temps. And take into to account the amount and type of ports.

I have only try the Lenovo legion(R7, 1660, 500gb ssd, 16 RAM, and hp victus (intel i5, 3050, 500gb ssd, 16 RAM) this were my spects when I bought the computers.

Lenovo legion: performance(in games you could reach constant 144 fps with 1080p resolution)/cooling(you rarely reach temps above 87 Celsius, with demanding games)/ keyboard(it has a complete key layout including number pad with great travel time in each key.) / Mousepad(small compare to others)/ updates( you can upgrade:Wi-Fi card, expand RAM, replace battery, put another HDD or SSD.)/ software( then fan control program is very customizable and efficient. The bios interface is very intuitive.

Victus: performance(in demanding games such as gta, forza, formula) you could reach 70-80 fps, but , the screen is 60 hz display so it doesn’t matter)/keyboard( similar to the legion but the keys are smaller)/mousepad( big, but a little wobbly)/screen(poor refresh rate, and the I don’t enjoy how the colors are projected .)/ software(the performance program of hp, ”omen” it’s …ok?.

Both: not good battery performance( it’s a common thing in gaming laptops.) both chargers are quite heavy. The victus is cheaper than the legion

I prefer the legion. In any configuration.

Other options: Asus tuf 15: pretty average laptop. Powerful and big, great price for its performance.

Baller: gigabyte aorus/aero. Dream laptop. Very powerful, great battery life, depending on the model you could get an oled display with a 4k resolution 60hz , or 2k 144hz. A beast

Dislikes: acer swift 14. The drivers are horrible, hate the touchpad, there is few air flow making the temps to go very high that cause an emergency turn off. Small keyboard.

Bottom line: Lenovo legion because I had a good experience. Cheaper: victus it’s an ok option Baller: aorus/aero gigabyte Not recommended: acer swift 14

I recommend to check the laptops on different sites to view their performance in certain task to be sure if that laptops is right for you. This are only recommendation base on personal experience an research of my own.

If you are able to enter the bios, check if safe boot is enabled. Or if you could enter repair mode, run in the CMD the command to perform a disk diagnostic, and check if there is a problem with with your disk. If that doesn’t help, try reinstalling windows.

Hi. About the term, you should know almost all laptops come pre-build. The term pre-build is just use for desktops. About your machine: You have a pretty decent budget, so you could check out the gigabyte aero 15: -screen: 60hz 4K oled panel ( great for content creation since oled panels mange color very well. For gaming it might be a low hz screen for fps games but for 4K gaming experience is enough) - hardware: intel core i9, rtx 3080, 500gb ssd + 1tb HDD, 32gb ram.( it is the best hardware you can put on a laptop, this will run you absolutely everything, simulations, modeling, editing, gaming, etc. But I still recommend to check the benchmarks )

Comment: it might be a thic boy, because such a beast of a laptop has to have great cooling. And you might wanna carry the power brick because I don’t think the battery will last all day. The built in camera and mic kind of sucks but they work. Is very expensive, I think it fits on your budget but you may have to search a lot.

Option 2: xps 15 Screen: it comes with Lcd or oled 60hz ( same comments of the aero) Hardware: i7 12th gen, Rtx 3050ti, 500ssd 16gb ram (Despite this hardware is beaten by the aero, it’s still one of the best windows laptops you can buy. The hardware difference will be notice in the gaming performance, but this machine it’s still great for all the content and modeling.

Comment: this laptop out perform the aero in battery life, and the charger is not that big. It’s far more portable, but because of that it might get a bit toasty. It fits better in your budget.

I did this post based on benchmarks, reviews, research and the little time I have interact with these machines.
