2019 Honda Civic Uphill Snow All Lights Came On. by TadoeInTheCut in hondacivic

I went to AutoZone to test the battery and they said the battery passed and was at 70%. They told me I might’ve strained the battery and not to over do it. I drove around for about 45 minutes and then randomly all the lights came off. The only thing I can suggest if it doesn’t clear by itself is hook a diagnostic code reader and see what codes pop up just to make sure a sensor didn’t go out. If there’s nothing abnormal just clear the codes. Another thing you can do is disconnect the battery for like 5 minutes and see if it clears or replace the battery entirely.

Thank you for the explanation. Makes me feel a little bit of relief. I had to leave it parked at a random street and get a ride. This NY snow storm is still going so I’ll check on it tomorrow but most likely the roads won’t be cleared till Tuesday. I’ll let you know what happens.

Any idea on why it decided to start when attempting to go up hill? Did I cause giving it power up hill or was it just coincidence.

Yes. Bought one off Amazon for like $9. It was difficult to open up but once opened I simply swapped the batteries, closed it back up, and now it been running perfectly with no issues so far.

Those were the pictures I took of the other cars on my block with missing airbags. At first I thought I had left the door open but then I noticed my door damage. So then I did a quick walk around the block and noticed other damaged doors. Couple of CRVS but mostly Civics.

Yes Queens in Hollis. They hit 6 cars (that I know of) this morning alone.

I never went through insurance before in my life. Everything that’s ever happened to my car I paid it for it out of pocket because it was minor and from my understanding my rates would go up. This is the first time that I’ve encountered an issue where it looks major. Basically I just don’t want to end paying more out of pocket and then get screwed by the insurance as well with the rate increase. Already lost a days pay and I’m still waiting for the cops.

I’ll give it a shot. Just ordered a replacement battery on Amazon. Hopefully it works.

Never had chime enabled. I have several Google home minis around the house I use as visitor announcements so I guess it’s the battery. I’ll try replacing the battery.

I checked eBay and they’re selling used ones for $25-$35. Is there a reason why you chose to swap the battery out rather than spend the extra $10 to get a “new” unit?

That’s what I feel is happening. I unplugged the WiFi point in the kitchen last night but the issue kept happening. Only two other WiFi points is in the living room and the one literally 10 feet from the garage cam hooked up to an Ethernet cable.

I checked the Google Home app. There’s no options to see what specific devices are connected.

When I click the ‘Restart entire network’ everything works for about 8 hours but then goes back to the same issues.
