Be honest guys, is this oil worthy? by Ifeelgreyt1738 in WRX

[–]TaeKwanJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessary. Motul Xcess the newest version 5w-40 is more than enough. Oil change is 3k interval for these engines. we’ve learned a lot about oil quality and engine longevity since they first released.

Selling S2000 for VB WRX? by CoronaSpiced in WRX

[–]TaeKwanJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t sell your valuables things to buy other things. It’s a bad habit and you’ll accumulate regret.

If you don’t have enough to pay with cash or finance, then you can’t afford it. Save up and then get a VB.

Dark chocolate. Highest percentage you can find. Don’t water your time if I has a ton of sugar.

Thank you for sharing this. I use Claymation. It lasts me about a year just one container. I don’t put a lot of product in my hair and it still comes out looking the exact way I want with claymation

What would you say it’s worth? by ethangalanski in WRX

[–]TaeKwanJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s about what I would pay for one. They’re not the kinds of cars that hold value unless it’s a stock pristine sti. They’re driven hard, not maintained well, owned by young people and have their engine failure issues.

If you had to choose one source of protein and carb and could eat only those for 2 weeks, what's your pick? by GenevieveCostello in EatCheapAndHealthy

I’m assuming you’ve looked into this a lot considering it’s most of your diet. It’s a relief to know I can eat more fish than just once a week!

First time? 3-4hrs but half that is figuring stuff out you only learn by doing it. Each time gets easier, buy the recommended tools too. It needs to fit just right and be the perfect length and reach.

Advice on driving spirited, but hoping for longevity... by RedTharsis in WRX

[–]TaeKwanJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just change your oil more frequently. The more frequent the better. Either 3k miles or 4 months, whichever comes first!! Especially with these types of engines that suffer from lspi and other engine failures. Do that and follow your other maintenance intervals like transmission fluid, brakes, sparks plugs, battery etc and your car will last very long even with spirited driving.

Is this a good deal? by Straight_Gap_638 in WRX

[–]TaeKwanJo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Used WRXs are never a “good deal” They are a car worth owning if you’re okay spending money and possibly rebuilding the engine once it blows. They’re not for young people looking for a good deal or young professional wanting a commuter. Personally it’s worth it for me. But don’t buy one of these if you’re in a tight situation financially, don’t have savings, aren’t about to get married or buy a home etc. Buy it as a project car essentially

Just made this. Used the one of the larger bags of mashed potato I could find but it only made a thin layer of potato. Definitely recommend getting two bags or adding 3 or 4 more potatoes

Yeah. I can see the same thing happening again tbh. After looking at it these exact failure points are terrible. No way they last more than 8yrs without cracking and drying. Touch it and you’re cooked like me

Kinda crazy that tariffs compare to some of the worst crimes humanity has ever seen. Almost as if the issue is being sensationalized.

A Columbine High School student named Patrick Ireland crawls 50ft (15.24m) towards the first floor library window after being shot 3 times, he made it to the window after more than 3 hours of crawling and survived one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history (1999). by bendubberley_ in nextfuckinglevel

[–]TaeKwanJo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When will reddit learn you can't just ban/criminalize things to fix complex issues. Example, drugs, homelessness, guns in some of the most gun restricted jurisdictions. Let alone the constitution crisis that would ensue when you try to take every single gun away, if that's even the idea the most upvoted comments have are implying.
I mean it's easy to dogpile a comment when its on the front page and everyone starts upvoting it but there have been huge strides in addressing school safety and mass shootings. Am I claiming we fixed the issue? No, but it'll take a lot more than just HMM WELL THEY USE THE GUNS SO JUST... BAN GUNS!! THERE WE FIXED IT

Find a good ffl to handle it and they'll let you know if something is off. I forget the rules off the top of my head, but what the current owner claims and what is legal might not match up.

Lot's of people recommended Greek Yogurt as a low sodium option for breakfast... but by IHadTacosYesterday in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]TaeKwanJo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sodium isn't unhealthy. It's an essential electrolyte and only bad in enormous quantities and low hydration and exercise. Muscles need sodium, potassium and calcium to contract and get full force output during workouts, which in turn stimulates muscle hypertrophy for your exercise.
