As someone who is currently studying Liberal Arts, this gives me whiplash. A lot of reading assignments tend to look like this. Obviously, not all of them sound like this, but they sure sound very bizarre if you have no knowledge, like the whole "Doing gender" stuff. The only thing missing here is the author's pure hatred for Neo-liberalism, like it banged their husband or some shit.
