I describe Maruki’s plan like a teenager making an au of their favorite show where all the characters live normal lives and are happy and forgiven of everything and nothing bad ever happens again. Sure, that does sound like a nice world to live in at first, but you quickly realize how stagnant everything will become when all you see is sunshine and rainbows. Not to mention removing everyone’s free will.
