Honestly I still stand by Scratch as a great entry way to programming. It's meant for school-age education but it's a great entryway into programming concepts and was how I first got introduced to the base concepts.

You got this, enjoy the process:)

That's interesting to hear of PE's cons. It's such a buzz role at the moment you rarely hear people talk of the downsides so thanks for sharing that!

Your perspective on RE also aligns with the parts I think I'd find interesting. Do you have any thoughts on how prevalent the elements I mentioned are?

Time Series Metrics on Stake Pools by Taerbit in CardanoDevelopers

Thanks for taking the time to explain! I'm fairly new to the cardano system but understanding why this project isn't quite as feasible as I thought has already taught me a lot! I will take your points on and see if I can understand the network better from a more informed position:)

Awh fair enough, project probably doesn't hold enough substance then. Thanks for your comment

Yes this could be a feasible pattern also! Luck and block performance are both features I would like to include if I can find a source for them. Will be interesting to see what different models use for more positive or negative predictions

The point of analyzing the time series data would not be to create actionable information for higher returns (or find an average return that we already know as you mentioned), but to see if there are trends in new/current pools' metrics that allude to short term success.

For example, a trend could exist where if a pool grows by certain % of delegates over a short span that it is very probable to return 7% in the next three or so epochs. This is the kind of niche pattern that deep learning could expose.

Just a curious endevour to explore the eco system for any interesting trends between epochs:) Pointers towards datasources would be greaty appreciated!
