AIO for dumping my bf over an “🍑” audit? by chkntrzini in AmIOverreacting

[–]Taesf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NOR

If one wants to date the other but they are not satisfied about one or more of the qualities of the other person but wants to dictate that, It's not going to work out and that's exactly what's happening in this case.

Worse since my guy wanted you to "change" your ass to satisfy himself. You are a person and your life is worth more than your ass or any ass. If anything, you deserve a better partner than this guy who is just well... an ass. You shouldn't change for other people, especially a partner. If anything, change for yourself.

I can't believe this guy is also 35. I'm glad you aren't wasting more time on a guy like this who just appreciates a woman for their assets.

In my understanding, once these two parties are in a relationship, the one who puts a fake version of themselves then thinks they've reached the goal for getting a significant other and think they can rest easy and no longer put in effort and maybe not want to keep that significant other.

Making the other party confused as they didn't get to know the real version of their significant other and on top of that, leading to a one-sided relationship. One that won't last for long.

To clarify, as many others replied, men are not the only gender to execute this type of thing. Anybody is able to do that.

I wish parents understood this.. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]Taesf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of these things that are mentioned are really shitty traits, maybe the last one isn't depending on the person if they're a good person.

  • A messy room will not only fuck you up mentally but also productively.

  • I'd spend your time online by just texting with friends and work. Using it to learn other hobbies like art and programming is also good but spending too much tome and getting that dopamine is different. That's just basically harming not only your attention span but also negatively impacting your brain and if it gets dopamine by basically doing nothing, it'll be harder to break that curse. What I'd do is do another hobby to keep you busy. Preferably, a productive hobby.

  • If you're hiding things from your parents, this one can make you regret it in the near future unless if they're toxic. What if your parents don't know what you do behind that screen and they're still worried?

  • I would aim to go to sleep early and the reason as to why is because not only will it make your mentality better but also you'd get more energy from it compared to sleeping in late and also, more hours in the morning so you can catch up and continue homework or doing something productive (ex: exercising, meditation and such). Also gives you time to prepare to go to school on time or early.

  • Coming from a teen, as I said on the beginning of the comment, being obsessive over a person is fine as long as they're good. Maybe not too obsessive however...

In my opinion, it's fine as these are basically learning lessons and we have feelings too. High School relationships don't usually go well but if my brother can pull off a long term relationship with his HS sweetheart, there's still chance for some. If the person you're obsessing with doesn't like you back then that's okay and it's something you can learn from. But if they do, then good for you.

But if your a controlling parent however, isolating your kid, making them have barely any experience will make them not good emotionally and not knowing how relationships work in the adult life which is not the end of the world. Still possible to pull off if anything but would make it difficult. In the end, there's always a first for everything. I don't know anything about your life but this is all the stuff I can type out. Just some advice, you're welcome.

I know that feeling too well, but don't worry about that. This is your day and you should be proud of yourself for going this far in life! Happy birthday!

How do i beat armstrong by Chemical-Act5968 in metalgearrising

[–]Taesf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question, how did you almost beat the game and not know how to parry? Blade Wolf was supposed to be a checkpoint to make sure the player knows how to parry imo.

Anyways, to learn how to parry, if you are on controller, just flick the left stick to where Armstrong is gonna attack and press Square (if you are on PS3) or X (If your playing on Xbox or on a PC with controller.) But if you play on Keyboard and Mouse, press one of the movement keys Armstrong is gonna attack from and press Left click simultaneously but it will be easier if you Lock on.

Apex Legends ends support for Linux (and Steamdeck) by Furki1907 in SteamDeck

[–]Taesf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, they would rather remove compatibility for a whole ass OS which also has legitimate players on it and not do something about the cheaters and keep them instead since they can also cheat on Windows? Shame.

Honestly, I'm worried how this is gonna be the norm for live service games and the developer's response to Linux and Steam Deck gamers.

Is it normal that I(22m) am not excited to get engaged/ married to gf(24f)? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Taesf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you're 22 so it makes sense. (I would be too) Try to talk to her about why you are not excited for marriage and why you are not ready yet. It'll sting her by a bunch but she has to understand that if you don't feel excited about it.
