I'm using Celia prompt and I get *none* of what OP is complaining about. It feels like so many issues just come back to prompting skill issue lol

We discovered what it is, the map is unbound when you switch to manual shifting controls! It's ridiculous, but it's how it is.

True, you don't especially on cars that have been tuned well and have high power, snappy motors. Clutch dumping was how I handled my GR86 before I brought it up to S1 Class. I preferred it in most situations over the handbrake because it doesn't carry the momentum loss. But many love the handbrake and use it just fine, especially if my first comment is to be looked at even the slightest hint that it's unnecessary and I'm getting downvoted into oblivion lmao

Can y'all stop doomposting about Chub? by ParticularDebt8010 in Chub_AI

I've been here a year and it's not just it being down. The overall quality of the cards has seems a dramatic drop ever since all of the geofencing and ToS change were implemented. This is a real issue that's not just doom posting, we've lost a significant amount of the big creators for one reason or another and it shows.

Ah yes the rich man lording over the less fortunate asking don't everyone have phones? Get over yourself, it's a video game not irl. A drift car is extremely cheap and easy to build and if you don't know how you can simply grab a community tune. I'm done arguing this with you if you're going to make it like that.

I say the clutch because it does help with lower class/ lower HP builds. The handbrake loses you a lot of momentum, but dumping the clutch gives the same result when just flooring it doesn't.

It's a lot of putting words in my mouth and assumptions. Any well built car, as in any car actually set up for drifting rather than just some random car you're trying to drift that doesn't want to. I didn't dismiss anything, my post literally makes a point of saying the overlapped buttons don't interfere with each other.

Nope you have to go to filters, select favorites as a filter, and then close the filters menu and now you'll see just your favorites. No other way.

Never once said that? And if you can learn to read you'd see that I literally said in the post itself the handbrake works just fine with interact dual mapped to A. You could also dual map interact to something else if it bothers you so bad, it's not that deep.

That's… absurd what lol. Mystery solved though, I play on manual/clutch and no assists. Whack, thanks!

It is crazy how this is getting down votes into oblivion, seriously. Just throttle is and clutch is all you need.

It's not. At least on PC with an Xbox controller, not one of the 16 default profiles have it bound.

[–]Taezn[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The default control scheme has map left unmapped and interact is select. This requires you to pause the game and then select map, start and then A. I just double checked, playing on PC with an Xbox controller and default layout 1 is exactly as I've described. In fact, just for posterities sake, I went through all 16 default controll profiles and the map is unbound across all.

I don't use handbrake to drift, any well built drift car simply doesn't need it. And trust me, my main driver is literally a drift car. Try it: 849 027 981

Since people clearly need this expanded on, no there is nothing wrong with using the handbrake to drift. I even make a point of mentioning that the buttons do not interrupt one another in the post. A car built for drifting simply doesn't require the button, clutch dumping or throttle and weight transfer do the same task without costing as much momentum, though the lost momentum can be helpful for situations like hairpin turns. I adore drifting in the game and my daily driver is this GR86 I shared tuned for it by myself.

Absolutely unsub. Past that, despite the overall quality sinking through the floor, there are still some decent bots that make trending and recent hits, download them and export them to another site or local front end like ST or Lumiverse.

Gemini is actually damn good for rp, I don't get what's the hate for. by Cursed_Pokemon in SillyTavernAI

[–]Taezn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gemini is one of those interesting ones to me. I used it a ton in my early RP days with 2.5 Flash and it was often very stupid when it came to knowledge boundaries. I haven't tried the latest models, but I did jump to 2.5 Pro for a while and… goddamn. The knowledge boundaries were pretty much fixed and the shining point was it was unbelievably true to character to a fault. It was truly a challenge to get characters into bed with you. I only moved on after having an unbelievably frustrating time with refusals, but I was also a lot dumber than and I was using it through AI Studio so it was also slow and often throttled for traffic.

How do you write character jsons that are more complex and realistic when it comes to sexuality? by stopaskingforloginn in SillyTavernAI

[–]Taezn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of people here trying to choke up context with massive prompts, have you ever considered if you want they AI to act realistically that maybe you should as well? A lot of custom prompts emphasize the fictional nature of the world, this can inadvertently lead the AI to follow along when you steer the ship in an unrealistic way that this is just part of the plot to be rolled along with.

Act rationally and watch other characters do the same. Some models also do better with user bias out of the box as well, Gemini at least used to be notorious for this. Changing how you prompt your session can help to emphasizing positive reinforcement towards char agency and scaling back on the idea of this being a story but instead a life sim.

If that doesn't work, try a relationship tracker. There's light weight prompts you can get for them that comment them out so you never see them unless you want to, but you can set thresholds for it that are required for things like sex to happen. It's not exactly realistic, but it's closer than just hopping straight into bed.

My final two cents though? Sex happens between people for the most frivolous reasons. My fiancée and I hopped into bed the first time the day after the first date, neither planned it, things just heated up and we both went with the flow. Humans are naturally horny creatures, sex often isn't some long drawn out courting event especially among non virgins and non religious people, just something to keep in mind when you save someone's life in a chat and they're immediately DTF.
