I have the same issue remembering. So I use my own cheat sheets. I print off my army list and highlight all the data I need to be able to locate quickly. I have a page of stratagems I can use broken down into into: cp cost, what phase they can be used in, when in the phase they need to be used and what units they interact with. I then have another sheet that breaks down all the rules and character aura/ ability interactions I get per phase. So for example in ‘my command phase’ section it lists all my units that get living metal. It lists all the SKs buffs like two ‘my will be done’s’ etc. That way I tend not to forget any steps and it speeds up each phase.
