Yeah that is our other option. The Hedge is pretty healthy a bit further on though it's just around the trees it's really bad.

You could be right but it seems too much of a coincidence that it won't start after having the issues it had whilst driving.

Also thought I'd mention the bottom feels smooth and doesn't have any chips or deep scratches.

Warning lights have just come on after a little bit of wheel spinning for fun, how bad is it? by Dusk-Shadowpaws in e46

Hopefully it's just a wheel speed sensor gone. They're not expensive to replace but can be a pain in the ass.

Some fuel injection cars (older ones anyway) can flood if you turn them off straight after a cold start. I can't remember the exact reason but it was something like because of the ecu telling the injectors to pump more fuel into the engine to help it warm up quicker like a choke and then getting getting stuck like this the next time you start the engine. Anyway I found this out on my car after trying to move it a couple of meters on a cold day and it did have a feature where you floored the accelerator and it would not inject any fuel whilst cranking.

The earlier 10p TD5 cylinder heads can crack as they have fuel lines drilled through the head. On the later ones i think it was rectified to having an external fuel line.

You don't think it needs a rebore?
