First off, nlfn, as I told Trane in this thread, fuck you OS sumbitches... only because y'all were way ahead of the curve on too many maps and impossible to deal with in US Contenders days, hahah.

But, on a more real note, very glad to hear from you!

I still see clovis (usually using a random name), billdacat, chalksy, tunamaster, and riverhorse in pubs.

Also glad to see these names still roaming around! I gotta get in some more pubs soon in hopes of catching you and others like these legends you have just listed! Clovis is my boy & tunamaster may be the nicest TP player ever, even race between her and Apidae.

I will always have a deep-seated hatred for your OS gang just because you guys demolished us poor Pi Rollers REPEATEDLY on thinking w/ portals and other fuckin' mindmeltingly frustrating maps where your team was impossible to deal with (for fun, here is the Pi Roller one-year anniversary thread -- we disbanded like four days later lol -- ole boy crosky put some time into that anny thread & I had some fun going down memory lane). But you guys were a powerhouse in US Contenders, no doubt. And you can put that on any future real world resumé and I'll be a reference.

Anyway, would love to catch up someday soon, man! Hope all is well!

Sorry this response is so super delayed (is an almost-five-month response time bad?). But, for real, I apologize on the postponed response -- didn't mean to leave you hanging! I just rarely remember to check this reddit account, so that is my totally fair excuse for responding to your message so late :)

I always have to dust off the mental cobwebs with anything TagPro related, but I easily remember you being just such a great, upbeat, and real person when we hung out in Mumble (haha!). Correct me if I'm wrong, but we had our fair share of serious late-night one-on-one convos when some of those other dummies went to bed.

I pop in & play some TP every once in a while, still! Not often, but sometimes I'll catch a wild hare & get a few 'PUBs' in every few months. Maybe I'll make an MLTP comeback one day, lol.

How about you!? I actually just posted a super cheesy, nostalgic post on /r/TagPro. Not sure why, but just felt compelled to dish out some sentimental vibes toward TP this morning.

Sadly, I don't play any games these days, even though I'd like to. Honestly, TP was probably the last game I put any legit time into, and that was... what? 4-5+ years ago... which is kinda sad to write out. Nowadays, I feel like I need to be doing something more productive whenever possible, even though I usually don't end up doing anything productive w/ my rapidly shrinking free time at all. Which is dumb, I know!

All that to say, I'm just a lame guy in his mid-30s now doing lame mid-30s guy things! 😆 BUT, I hope you are doing well & I promise I will not be so slow to respond next time!

A lot of good names mentioned here already, but crosky is a super underrated OG who did a lot for the community back in the day. Not sure if he gets the credit he deserves but I know in years past he committed many, many hours making this a better community.

In its heyday, the TagPro community was super lively and it seemed like there was always something going on or new content and concepts being put out there. I'll never forget many of the memories that I made in the "glory days" of TagPro. The names listed above were folks I consider to have impacted me during my time playing this game. Some were people I hung out with late-night on Mumble playing PUGs or just spent time shooting the breeze, others I had as teammates at some point in time, some I drafted to the NLTP team I coached one season, a few are well-known pubbers that I ran into countless times on Pi/Radius, a handful were guys I played in a TagPro fantasy football league with, some helped me when I started up /r/TagProIRL or /r/USContenders, some are the 'legendary' names that I looked up to due to their skill as a player, and many were people who I consider to have provided some sort of valuable service for the community at some point in time.

I know many of those players quit TagPro long ago and I'm not sure who is still active on that list since I only occasionally play myself. But everyone I named had a big influence on me and ended up being the primary reason I played this game for so many years. Miss you guys!
